Gator`s Dockside of DE Land in DeLand

The server has NO knowledge of menu items, sides, or drinks. She didnt check on our table to make sure we had everything. The restroom had a foul odor and trash everywhere. It was so disgusting, the employees were doing each others make up in the dinin room, INSTEAD of cleaning the restroom. Wouldnt recommend and will NOT return

The place was nice and clean. The food was actually really really good. The only complaint that I have is that the hostess never came around to seat me. Which it was okay I just went to the bar and sat there. I will definitely go back.

I enjoy the gator tails and the games they have there!

Remarkably average food, our table ordered a batch of boneless wings that came out bone in and then had trouble getting the bill sorted out. We had tried both of their house sauces and could honestly say that the "Scooter sauce" is the better of the two. I would probably go back if I wanted some wings but there is nothing that would really draw me back to them.

Found two German roaches while we were waiting on our food. The first was a tiny baby in our drink, the second crawled onto one of our kids from the wall. We showed a waitress who said gross. Then a manager came over and offered to let us pay for our drinks if we didn’t want to wait for our food. Never even offered an apology. This place isn’t the gators it used to be!!! Very gross wont go back

First visit to Gator's dockside today for lunch. Food was good great size portions. The entire lunch was a joy because of our server Allie.. Ally. Very friendly and attentive with an outstanding personality.

I couldn't believe it this is my go to place great food fun staff , they told us we couldn't have a table and basically told us if we didn't want a booth good bye so we left that was on Sunday 9/29/19... customer service folks learn it live it or do something else.... disappointed.

I’ve been to a few different Gators Dockside locations, and this location is terrible. The food was good, but VERY over priced. It was more expensive than the other locations. They even charged me for celery and ranch to go with my wings. They charge for cheese on your burger. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. Try another location.

Love the pool tables and arcade. They have pretty decent food, better than most bar atmospheres Ive been too. Cant wait for date night again

Went to dinner there last night at 7pm. Waited 10 minutes to be greeted. Waited another 35 minutes for lukewarm chicken wings and fries. I won't go back. Even had to ask for a fork and knife. Really!!!!

Went here about 2 day's ago because I had friends tell me that they have the best wings in town so I went in and placed a ordered for 20 baked wings half suicide flavor and the other half asian flavor waited 20 mins for some wings and a girl came out asking if I was JT, but the order she said wasn't mines so I waited another 15 mins and another girl ask if I was JT and I said yes so 6 or 10 mins later I finally got my order and left then went home and when I opened the container the flavors I asked for weren't even correct they basically gave my original flavor wings and I paid almost $30 for a incorrect order I'll be sticking to ale house wings their cheaper and they get my ordered correct waste of time

Waited to be seated for 10 minute. No one acknowledgment us what so ever. The bartender looked at us didn’t say a word. Not a hello, someone will be you shortly not a word. I am a Hispanic women and my husband is a Black Hispanic.Another couple came in as we decided to leave and then the bartender left to the back to let the hostess know she had someone waiting and she came out to sit the 2 white couple. Very upset

Dirty. Overall very dive bar-ish. Greasy food slow service and sketchy looking staff (we were there for lunch) also would like to mention we were the only customers there and had a hard time getting service. Ladies restroom was gross and dark. One light was out, everything needed a paint job and a serious power scrub.

Slow food. The waitress was nice. Silverware would have helped. She was fast with drinks. Maybe overwhelmed. Food mediocre. Burger good.,shrimp was deep fried cocktail type.

Well we just bought a home in Deland and we’re deciding what’s for dinner . It’s always the same old thing pizza , fast food ect ect . My daughter and son in law suggested Gators dockside in Deland and boy was it good we had the black an blue burgers and a bacon cheese burger the fries and the mild wings . And let me tell you I ate all my food and then some just needed to let them know that if this is what there food taste like I’m in . I’m definitely going back and the best thing is I live right down the road . So thank you again and keep up the great food and we will see you soon ! Thank you from the Ballou Family of Deland .

I gave it a 1 star because if you look at the pictures all the wings were black on one side, and had a burnt taste thru out. But they were placed in the basket with the burnt side down. Meaning the cook knew he burnt them but decided he was going to feed them to me anyway. I didn't complain or send them back because they already knew, and I don't normally complain or send my food back. You never know what you might get the second time. If they read this and want to replace the wings, I may bump the review up a little. Waitress was great, and I tipped more then 30% because she had nothing to do with it.

I’ve always had a good experience here. The food is always good, service is always quick and the atmosphere is nice family oriented. The wings and fried pickles are my fave! Little pricey but worth it.

Excellant place to grab a bite an drink a cold one(have ice cold drafts happy hours)an watch Football !!! Has Huge screen on one side(Dolphins side) and dozens more around the rest of the place watched the Ravens vs 49ers there last week it was Awesome!!! Deff recommend the gator appetizer Rocks!!! Good wings too!!

Staff is awesome and food has got a lot better under the new manager Chris. Hubby and I sit at the bar frequently. They always have the football games and fights. Jenny is great at the bar. Pool tables and games for the kids and adults.

Great food at great prices, be prepared to be assertive in flagging down your server because it can be loud sometimes and difficult to get their attention. Otherwise, a great casual dinner place!

No soap in the bathroom. Dirty Bar top. Given the ongoing pandemic, We expected an effort to ensure our safety and dining experience. One of the dirtiest Gator Dockside I’ve been too.

I come here after the local movie house once a month. A great place for large burger, wings and a hefty portion of fries. TV screens in abundance to catch up on the latest game.

The fries and fish tacos were cold the wings were really good,but the waitress kept disappearing had to hunt her down for another drink and then we were trying to check out. They were not busy at all.

Live near by and don’t go vey often, but when I do food, drinks, and service are always amazing. Love the wings gator style..any flavor. Amazing. Will return and recommend

Be sure to order your wings extra crispy; otherwise, they will look & taste gross. Although it should be standard, I forgot to mention it last time and was highly disappointed. If you're going for the wings only, I'd recommend checking out Rachel's Wing Shack instead.

Delicious blackened fish sandwich cooked to perfection at 9:00pm on a Friday night!!!Ice cold beer on tap!!! What could be better!!!

Best Place Ever Although you might wanna go there Around Noon time Its Very Dark at night and my eyes aren't so good anymore lol .. But The server was very nice and very professional she did a wonderful job we will definitely be going back to see her again she got a good tip from us👍.

Blackened chicken salad was amazing

Been to Gator's in the past and food was delicious. Went there last night with family and it seemed to take a long time for the food to come out. Needed refills on drinks. At least 4 waitress joking around hiding behind wall. The waitress brought out food and had to ask for refill. Didn't get the order right. Had to go get own silverware. And food was just like warm.

The temperature in the restaurant was too warm to enjoy our meal. Waitress said there was nothing they could do. Not sure if I will ever go back.

After 15 minutes of waiting, a couple got seated right beside us and the waiter came to them and started to get their order within minutes! I should have been waited on before the other couple not sitting there for that long without even my drinks ordered! Very disappointed with the service, and when I said something to the waiter she looked at me like I was retarted. I got up and walked away.. Wont be going back.

this place has great food and i love the atmosphere. plus the waiters are so sweet

They have the best salads, always fresh. Wings, still the best in town and the House sauce is AMAZING!!

The waitress was pleasant...she did her best. But when the wings got served, we immediately sent them back. They were poorly, if not, near un-done. We clearly asked for a more crispier cooked wing and got spongy, kind of gelatinous wings instead.Total waste of time/money....

We went to use the game room only so I can only review the staff and arcade. The kids had a great time. Price is very fair. The only thing that could be better are the prizes that you choose from when redeeming your tickets. Staff was very friendly. We will definitely go again!

Food was disgusting! I ordered potato skins and boneless wings. Potato skins tasted like they were microwaved and the wings tasted just like cat fish...! Told this to our waitresses and she said they always have food coming back and people get sick all the time..

Worst service ever. And not even sure what was in my food. Got there at 3 minutes into the first quarter of a football game. Second quarter was almost over when we finally flagged someone down. Meal was brought almost 40 minutes after that. It was not that busy when employees can stand leaning against a wall watching the game. Then I ordered chili and thought it tasted strange, but figured that was just because they use a little different recipe. Not! There were black pieces at the bottom of the bowl. Whether coating was coming off Teflon cookware or they burned the hamburger meat, unknown.

Idk bout the lower scores from people. Me and my husband had a excellent time. The food was delicious and multiple waitresses made sure we were alright. Ordered a Long Island Tea and by the second drink I couldn't drink.
